Also known as Macassar nutmeg, a rare variety with a nuttier, creamier profile and mild sweetness. Rich aroma with hints of spice and a smooth finish; less intense than round nutmeg. Ideal in cream-based dishes, soups, or grated over desserts. Sustainably foraged from rainforest areas and dried slowly to preserve its unique character.
Foraged from deep within the forests of Seram and Papua, this variety thrives among native trees without ever seeing a fertiliser. Its presence in our offerings supports forest-based livelihoods and helps protect the biodiversity of the archipelago. This small treasure is proof that flavour and conservation can go hand in hand.
